A bite?

On July 8th Lillie woke up looking like this... I thought at first she must have bonked her head in the middle of the night, or something.  But the swelling just got worse and worse and I couldn't find an obvious knot.  So, we headed to the doctor.  He thought it was a bite.  It got worse and worse until she couldn't open her eye.  Then we slowly watched the swelling drain down her little face.  After a few different antihistamines and a few days we finally got it under control. 

Not a week later did Lillie show up with two bites on her little calf.  By the following day her little leg and foot were so swollen she couldn't wear shoes.

Odd isn't it?  That is what the doctor kept saying - and he brought a few of his colleagues in to check it out.  That always makes a parent feel warm and fuzzy!  Looks like an allergist is in our future.
