9 months

Mary Hardin is 9 months old.  I'm just not really sure where the time has gone.

This sweet little girl still has an easy, relaxed spirit.  She is curious, so curious.  She loves to be around people and will crawl after you if you even think about leaving the room.

Happy.  Mary Hardin is happy - very smiley.  She loves attention but doesn't need it.

Often times I will catch Mary Hardin "crawling" up on her feet - like a bear walk.  I think her knees get irritated from all the actual crawling.  She loves to stand.  She cruises around the coffee table easily.

She seems long and skinny to me.  She eats - still 6 bottles a day and three food meals.  I need to get brave and organized to move on to more real food less fake milk.

Stats:
Height: 28 inches (75 percentile)
Weight 18 pounds 5 ounces (50 percentile)
Head: 44.5 inches (75 percentile)

Last night as Lillie and I laid Mary Hardin to bed, Lillie said, "Night, night butter bean."  So I guess I must call her that a good amount.

She goes to bed around 8pm and sleeps until 6:30am.  Naps are still erratic, but she is the second child after all.

I find the 9 month age to be particularly sweet to me.  She recognizes us - she kicks with delight and communicates with a little whimper to indicate that she needs to be picked up immediately.  She is playful, interactive and easily entertained.
