a wee one's vacation

Over the weekend Brad and I headed to Morehead City to celebrate a friend's wedding.  We also got in a little beach time, watched the big World Cup "win" or tie as you may have it and had 6 hours of uninterrupted car conversations!

Lillie had an equally busy and fun weekend.  Mimi took care of the bear.  It was certainly a treat for B and me- but it was also a treat for Lillie.  Mimi spoils Lillie like crazy.  It is so fun to see.  I didn't have the luxury of knowing what it was to steal away to my grandparents house for fun without mom- but, I know Lillie will.  I've already deemed Mimi's house as the one that will be for finger painting, play dough making, mud slinging magic! 

We dropped her off and my mom relayed the weekend plans.  Mind you, Lillie wasn't even there for 36 hours!  She attended a high school graduation party, tried multiple new foods, got a new floating raft and motor boat then took the new toys swimming with the newlyweds K & K, played with G-aunt Karen, road her radio flyer trike and enjoyed poking the dogs (one of her most favorite activities!).

All in all it was a fun weekend.  Thanks fam!
