Weekend on the West Coast

I don't recomend going to the West Coast for a weekend.  But if you do, it should be for something as wonderful as this...

Agreed to marry my big brother

On her family's BEAUTIFUL farm

Friends and family traveled the distance to stand by them

And cheer them on

To make it down the isle after so many years

This guy even traveled over the top of the world to attend (from London).

On a nuclear family note... Lillie did a lot of sitting in the grass, crawling on airport and hotel floors over the weekend... basically being down and dirty.  I think she had enough of it.  

Yesterday, on June 1st, she took 10 steps.  Video coming soon.  But, I'd be amiss if I didn't share that Brad is a stickler for what we could call her first steps.  So you must know that the requirements for us to count these as "first steps" were as follows: more than five steps with the ability to stop at the end and still be standing and balanced.  People, these are real steps!

We are exhausted but had a wonderful weekend.  More stories and photos to come!
