simple. friendship.
These days I love simple.
Food made with just a few ingredients. Simple pieces of clothing that can be worn multiple times without anyone noticing. Clean closets. Concise emails. Comfortable friendships.
Some friendships come easy and are just natural, existing without fuss. Corbin and I shared this type of friendship in college. Although Brad and Corbin were roommates, I claim our families friendship started with Corbin and I freshman year. Now Corbin is a devoted family man and has an unwavering loyalty to those that he loves. I have no words to describe my love and thankfulness for Corbin's family- especially Byerly. Corbin married up, for sure. And now I'm blessed that our families share a no fuss, honest friendship.
Forget complicated- we enjoyed these simple, beautiful moments at the beach with the Graves family last weekend.
Check-out Chesson's tongue. Do you think Lillie was getting heavy?
The whole crew- minus me :)
This is Anna Corbin and her (biological) mom Byerly. Can you believe that red hair! I'm jealous!
Notably this was Lillie first trip to the beach. She obviously loved it.
On the way out to the beach Byerly picked up a another shovel (we already had 3!). She said you cannot ever have enough shovels at the beach. Now I understand- looks like Chesson had ONE to share.
Thanks for the wonderful vacation destination, lovely blackout curtains and box fans, for ordering the perfect weather, preparing food to fill our bellies and allowing us to share our family life in the easiest ways.
Monroe's you were missed greatly! Next time, next time.

Ahh - a boy and his shovels. Life is good!! -- Love y'all!!
