Be Mine

A grump in my office said, "Valentine's day is only a courting holiday."

Although it is true, those who are dating on Valentine's day can be particularly cute, I believe Valentine's day is for everyone!  So we celebrated.

Heart shaped pancakes for little hands.

Flowers and play dough at the breakfast table.

Cards.  Sweet cards.

And some for friends at school, too.

And then I got to work and enjoyed reading our 'heart attack.'  And of course, passing out second grade Valentines to 20 year old's.

And best of all was this true story from my office today - all for one smiling girl.  One boy walked in with flowers and a poem at 12 noon.  The next boy walked in with flowers and a poem at 1pm.  And then another at 1:30 - who was followed followed by a guy with a guitar.  The actual boyfriend never showed his face but sent others to proclaim his love.  Actual video footage...



Happy Valentine's Day to the loves of my life.  Although we aren't perfect, our love is perfect.  Amen.
