from Idaho

Kelsey's parents made the trip from Idaho this week!  This was the first time they have been to visit, so Kevin and Kelsey planned a packed week, including a trip to the beach (no thanks to Irene they still got to go!).  Our family was thrilled to be able to share in a Sunday evening dinner on the deck at Uncle Chuck's house with the Wagner's.  It was wonderful to have the families together.

I especially loved quizzing Kelsey's mom on how she raised 6 children on a farm!  There is a ton to learn from that wise wise mama!

Have a mentioned that Kevin and Kesley just built a fabulous new deck - more photos here on Kelsey's blog!  The are now perfecting the art of entertaining in their new space - shrimp cocktail, steaks on the grill, salads galore, twice baked potatoes and pies!  It was like Thanksgiving, except I liked the food a ton more!
