girls..

I really love being a mom to these two little girls.  It is fun to watch them interact, even at an early age.

I know Mary Hardin loves Lillie.  She is captivated by her quick movements and she certainly always searches to find her when Lillie starts to speak.  It is so sweet to see Mary Hardin scan the room for her sister.   When Lillie comes into her line of sight the grin that is plastered on Mary Hardin's face is amazing.

And everyone asks if Lillie enjoys being a big sister - and I always respond, "yes - probably a little too much!"

This wasn't the first time I said, "Lillie please don't squish your sister."

I've also said:
Please don't step on your sister, don't pull her hair, don't pick her nose, don't try to pick her up, don't feed her your vitamin, don't change her diaper, don't burp her by yourself, don't wake her up, just please don't...

Maybe one day I won't say don't and Mary Hardin in the same sentence constantly.

And lets face it- as Beth Anne reminded me- I really have nothing to worry about until Lillie shoves Mary Hardin in a trash can and rolls her down the driveway.  Right now I have small fish to fry!
