First trip to ATL

Lillie made her first (of many to come) trip down to ATL this weekend.  Brad's mom, aunt and cousin and family all enjoy calling Atlanta home.  Ann, Brad's cousin, has it made with two willing and loving babysitters within a 20 minute radius!  Not to mention, Brad's mom lives down the street from her sister.  I dream of living down the street from my brother- how much fun would that be!  Thus, it is easy to step right into their Atlanta life and feel at home with lots of family surrounding you.

We left Friday night after we had given Lillie a bottle.  This had been recommended to us so that Lillie would sleep in the car (like it was nighttime) and we woudn't have to stop for feedings, poopy diapers, etc.  Great idea, right?  Well, it worked like a charm until we got there at 2am and Lillie thought it was morning.  No one warned us about this!  I will just say this- seeing 3am and 6am in the same morning really gets your trip started on a sleepy note :).

Thank goodness we had a well rested Gram to rock our sleepy baby.

Lillie loved meeting her second cousins (I think they are second cousins- I'm not really sure.  I don't really care- they are good family!).  Lillie meeting Logan (Brad's cousin Ann's 5 year old).

Lillie has this obsession with grabbing other kids faces.  She hasn't ever met a stranger.

We also found out that Lillie LOVES to drive!  I've never seen her so excited about a toy.  Thanks for sharing Cooper :)

Along with sharing their ride, the boys were happy to give Lillie a lift.  Cooper (12 months old) pushed her around the house!  I can totally see why having two kids could be easier.

And I can also see why it could be much much much harder.  The joys of capturing a photo of the kids.

Thanks for a great trip ATL fam!  Look forward to doing it again soon.
