Three is the new two.

A friend stopped me this morning outside school.  We were talking about our Lillies - both in the same class - and how our mornings had been thus far (before 8am).  After having a three year old for just a few months, she explained that she has renamed the two year old year as the "terrific two's" - instead of the "terrible two's."  She said, you know, three is the new two.  Somehow it makes me feel a little better that I'm not the only mom feeling like I'm swimming up stream every morning at 6am.

And for the record, I'm ok with 3 being the new 2 - because if you just add a little 0 onto that equation then 30 really is the new 20.  Woot woot.

In other exciting and equally unimportant news, this is the new view into the dining room.  Hello rug.  I got a 4th of July deal - 75% off - and it arrived on my front door step.  Big smile.
