Bits..

Did I mention that Mary Hardin was the messiest eater you have ever seen?   Well, she is and she loves it.

 Brad caught us.  All three of us watching TV.  This is a funny photo to me.  But it is also a sweet reminder of what this winter break has been, has meant, to me.

Mary Hardin has been by my side since the start of December.  I even took her to work with me for a week.  And Lillie has been with me since December 8th.  We have lived life quietly - and with meaning.  I haven't worried about cooking or cleaning or accomplishing.  I haven't really worried about making playdates or doing crafts.  I've really just tried to be present and still with my children.

This break has been different.  I'm different.  I view my family differently.  Our life doesn't look so much like the check list it use to.

Lillie and Mary Hardin both head back to school full time on January 4th.  I dread it.  But, I'm thankful.  Beyond thankful for the time I have to hold my sweet girls.
