Dear Santa,

I know where you get your jolly laugh from... it is from watching mom's like me follow their two year old's around the mall while the little ones consider saying hi to you.  We spent almost two hours peering at your from behind the crowds, watching you as you walked out to "feed your raindeer" and just plain thinking about it.  As we were leaving the mall in defeat, Lillie looked up and said - "I do want to see Santa!"  And u-turn was made.

So we hurried back and got in the hour long line.  Mimi patiently entertained and changed Mary Hardin several times.  I took Lillie to the mall bathroom and we finally made it to the front.  Lillie was obviously nervous, but I think she really felt like she wanted to sit on your lap!  What an accomplishment that would be.  You could just see her overcoming her own fear in her own little mind.

As we stepped up to the front of the line - Lillie took one look at you and dashed!  While I ran after her and Mary Hardin enjoyed some one on one time with you!

I caught Lillie half way to the car and we came back - to overcome our fear.  And with my help, we enjoyed a brief "sit" with you, Santa.  Well, I think Mimi enjoyed it more than anyone else!

Hope you enjoyed the milk and cookies.  Lillie loves her train.  Thanks for the note.
